 I enjoy doing a little wood turning and incorporating my carving into it. This Wood Spirit oil lamp was turned and carved in Basswood. I cleaned up the top rim with a knife, leaving the knife marks. I then wood burned the upper rim and also the bottom rim. It was finished with a mixture of Watco natural and dark liquid wax. The oil lamp sets in a 1 3/8" hole. |
